About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist at Henry Ford Hospital, you will coordinate and facilitate operations in key pharmacy areas, including automation, pharmaceutical waste management, regulatory readiness, and inventory control. The role supports pharmacy, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to help ensure seamless and efficient patient care and maintain the integrity and efficiency of pharmacy services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least two years of experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician for an inpatient setting, or two years of pharmacy technician experience for all other settings.
• Valid State of Michigan pharmacy technician licensure.
• PC skills needed to perform job functions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for on-call system support.
• Ability to work designated shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience with automated pharmacy dispensing systems.
