Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Infusion Services - Float
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Infusion Services – Float prepares and distributes pharmaceuticals, performs inventory control and compliance activities, provides customer service, and maintains pharmacy records. The position requires flexibility, a positive attitude, attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to prioritize and manage time in a busy, changing environment. The role floats between Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin, and Johnson Creek Cancer Center. The ideal candidate has sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
Requirements
- At least one of the following: six months of experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of the second year of pharmacy school.
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire.
