Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Overnights – $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Specialist prepares and distributes pharmaceuticals; performs inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions; provides customer service; and maintains pharmacy records. The role provides pharmacy support to interdepartmental team members and requires a self-starter who can manage competing priorities in a busy work environment. Overnight specialists are expected to be proficient across the task areas that may require support and capable of performing tasks within their scope. The position is 100% FTE, working a rotating schedule of four 10-hour overnight shifts per week, typically 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Hours may vary according to departmental operational needs. The position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus, with possible evening/night and weekend shift differentials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one of the following: six months of experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program, or completion of the second year of pharmacy school.
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire.
