About The Position
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Its automated operations help prescriptions be filled quickly and accurately. The work supports patient care in the community by allowing retail pharmacies to spend more time providing clinical services and education. The position is not patient-facing. Walmart is hosting an onsite hiring event for Pharmacy Technicians and Certified Pharmacy Technicians at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Plainfield, Indiana. The event is Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technicians must meet Indiana state requirements, including minimum age requirements, and hold an active, valid Pharmacy Technician license from the State of Indiana.
- Certified Pharmacy Technicians must meet Indiana state requirements, including minimum age requirements, and hold an active, valid Pharmacy Technician license from the State of Indiana.
- Certified Pharmacy Technicians must also hold an active, valid PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) national certificate.
Responsibilities
- Process and dispense prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.
- Support retail pharmacies in providing clinical services and education to their communities.
