About The Position
Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, continually growing hospital. The Pharmacy Tech assists pharmacists with filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders and performs technical duties involved in handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency in two or more specific pharmacy function areas, including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. The position provides patient care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician credential through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
