About The Position

Assists the Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs technical duties involved in handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency in two or more pharmacy function areas, including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
