Pharmacy Tech, Home IV Infusion
About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech performs scheduling, inventory, clerical, operational, and billing functions requiring thorough knowledge of home infusion care. The role coordinates medical supplies for patients and provides ancillary and technical assistance to the Pharmacist in providing medication. The Pharmacy Tech posts and fills orders, distributes and delivers medications, prepares and fills IV additive solution orders according to prescribed procedures, and assists with inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and returning outdated medications. All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis, California.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or completion of a CMC-approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
- State of California Pharmacy Technician License (RXTECH).
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduling, inventory, clerical, operational, and billing functions related to home infusion care.
- Coordinate medical supplies for patients.
- Provide ancillary and technical assistance to the Pharmacist in providing medication to patients.
- Post and fill orders, and distribute and deliver medications.
- Prepare and fill IV additive solution orders according to prescribed procedures.
- Assist with inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and returning outdated medications.
