About The Position

The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Lead provides integrated support to patients, pharmacists, and clinic staff across the continuum of medication services. The role works with pharmacy leadership to train and develop team members, including training new and existing staff on processes and procedures. The technician lead also assists with departmental operations as needed. The employee must maintain a Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician registration/license and national certification in good standing. This is a bargaining union position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of post-high-school education or related work experience.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification through PTCB or NHA.
• Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred.
