About The Position

As the Manager, Pharmacy Technician Training and Development, you design and implement technician training programs to support ProMedica pharmacy operations. You ensure consistency and high performance across all training initiatives to meet the needs of ProMedica’s system-wide pharmacy services. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Expertise in pharmacy operations, including dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and repackaging.
Proficiency in pharmacy automation systems, such as Pyxis, Swisslog, and EHR systems.
Knowledge of USP 797/800 standards and other relevant pharmacy regulations.
Five years of relevant experience.
Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License, or Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern License and P4 status in schooling.
Active Michigan Board of Pharmacy Technician License, or Michigan Board of Pharmacy Intern License and P4 status in schooling.
Certified Pharmacy Technician certification through either the PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam, or an intern license.
CPhT-Adv certification through PTCB, unless the applicant has an intern license.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
Five years of experience in health system management or pharmacy training and development.
Certification in sterile compounding, pharmacy informatics, or leadership training programs.
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for performance improvement.
