About The Position

Nycom is hiring a Training and Development Manager to lead the administration and continuous improvement of the company’s knowledge and learning systems. Nycom specializes in interior construction, including laboratory furniture and equipment, specialties, and custom woodwork for clients in educational, industrial, research, and healthcare markets. The role supports continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization by developing learning programs and materials, managing learning platforms and resources, and coordinating initiatives with department leaders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in education, instructional design, training, knowledge management, or a related field.
• Experience administering SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Learning Management Systems.
• Strong instructional design and content development skills.
• Experience creating eLearning content.
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders across the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with video creation tools.
• Construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of Nycom’s knowledge and learning systems.
• Manage SharePoint Learning Centers and document libraries.
• Partner with department leaders to capture and organize critical business knowledge.
• Design and develop onboarding programs, instructor-led training, eLearning courses, videos, job aids, and other learning materials.
• Administer Paylocity Learning, including course assignments, reporting, and curriculum management.
• Coordinate training schedules, content development projects, and learning initiatives across departments.
• Measure training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain learning technology tools, templates, and media assets.
• Support a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
