About The Position
Reporting to the Regional Director - Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Site Manager is responsible and accountable for the planning and management of patient-centered pharmaceutical care services designed for their assigned site(s) and administrative responsibilities as assigned. As a member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the incumbent ensures that pharmaceutical care services are aligned with strategic priorities and meet high standards of quality and patient safety. The incumbent oversees the day-to-day operations of the site’s pharmacy team and leads the pharmacy staff in establishing efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services. These services will ensure a safe, timely, and cost-effective medication management system that supports patient-centered pharmaceutical care. The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Aperçu du poste: Sous la responsabilité du Directeur régional - Pharmacie, le ou la Gestionnaire de site - Pharmacie est chargé de la planification et de la gestion des services de soins pharmaceutiques centrés sur le patient conçus pour le ou les sites qui lui sont attribués, ainsi que des responsabilités administratives qui lui sont confiées. En tant que membre de l'équipe de direction de la pharmacie, le titulaire veille à ce que les services de soins pharmaceutiques soient conformes aux priorités stratégiques et répondent à des normes élevées de qualité et de sécurité des patients. Le titulaire supervise les opérations quotidiennes de l'équipe de la pharmacie du site et dirige le personnel afin d'établir une prestation efficace et efficiente des services de pharmacie. Ces services garantiront un système de gestion des médicaments sûr, rapide et rentable qui soutient les soins pharmaceutiques centrés sur le patient. Le ou la titulaire du poste bénéficie d’un niveau d’initiative approprié et fait preuve d’un jugement indépendant pour déterminer les priorités de travail, les méthodes de travail à utiliser et les mesures à adopter pour traiter les questions inhabituelles. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a pharmacist.
- Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized University.
- Current practicing membership or eligibility for registration and membership with the College of Pharmacist of Manitoba (CPhM).
- Proficiency of both official languages is essential (English/French).
- Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums.
- Good work and attendance record.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience is desirable.
- Previous management experience is desirable.
- Completion of a hospital residency program is desirable.
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency is an asset.
- Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacy (CSHP) is an asset.
- Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to communicate in more than one language would be considered an asset.
