About The Position
The Pharmacy Shipping Associate packs and ships prescriptions according to client specifications and performs other assigned duties. The role supports Eagle Pharmacy’s prescription fulfillment and shipping operations, following established procedures, pack-out processes, privacy laws, and company policies. It includes quality assurance checks on automated pharmacy and shipping equipment, maintaining shipping supplies and freezer gel packs, and keeping the work site clean and orderly. Job activities take place entirely indoors and involve standing, repetitive work, and lifting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of logistics experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Ability to work in a standing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
- Ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
- Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
- Ability to learn from a variety of techniques.
- Ability to follow established process flows.

Nice To Haves
- One year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to prescription order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
- Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.
- Stock freezers with gel packs.
- Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
- Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and applicable local or federal laws.
- Follow and aid in enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Perform quality assurance checks on automated technology related to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work site.
- Keep an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at the shipping station.
