About The Position

Join Walmart's pharmacy team as a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting patient care in a community pharmacy. The role helps promote customer health and wellness and contributes to the safe, efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. The intern is paid and supports the pharmacy team's goals.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Build effective relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Cater to individual patient needs.
Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
