About The Position

As a Pre-Grad Intern on Walmart's community pharmacy team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting patient care and pharmacy operations. The role helps improve customer health and wellness by advocating for patient wellbeing and supporting the safe, efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. You will be paid to support the pharmacy team's goals and contribute to the company's success.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Address individual patient needs.
Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with Company policies and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
