About The Position

Join Walmart’s community pharmacy team as a paid Pre-Grad Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting patient care and pharmacy operations. The role focuses on improving customer health and wellness, advocating for patient wellbeing, and helping the pharmacy team provide exceptional customer service and safe, efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. The position is based at 400 S Fran, Butler, Missouri.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Be able to cater to individual patient needs.
Commit to following HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) guidelines.

Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Support patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
