About The Position

Optum is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Fulfillment Operations to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment in Mesa, Arizona. The role oversees daily operations, supports automation and workflow processes, and drives continuous improvement to support productivity, quality, and compliance. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The position offers an annual salary range of $60,200 to $107,400 based on full-time employment. Compensation depends on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements. Candidates must pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Requirements

Willingness to obtain or maintain Arizona Pharmacy Technician licensure.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in fulfillment, manufacturing, or production.
Ability to work in a production environment with physical requirements.
Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team supporting pharmacy fulfillment and inventory operations.
Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
Drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and layout optimization.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy, safety, warehousing, and shipping regulations.
Partner with leadership on reporting, metrics, and improvement initiatives.
Support automation and equipment training as required.
