Pharmacy Manager - $30,000 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
The Pharmacy Manager leads Walmart’s pharmacy team and oversees pharmacy operations, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff while providing patient care and supporting community health and engagement. The role includes processing and dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and delivering other programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. The manager also oversees merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, inventory, customer service, community outreach, compliance, loss prevention, safety, and quality assurance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, a PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC; a pharmacy license by the job entry date; and completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program. U.S. pharmacy-related experience is preferred. The annual salary range is $112,000 to $197,000, with possible performance bonuses and other additional compensation. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in working effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.

Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss-prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality-assurance reviews.
- Lead pharmacists and pharmacy staff and manage pharmacy operations.
