Pharmacy Manager - $30,000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
The Pharmacy Manager leads Walmart pharmacy pharmacists and staff to provide comprehensive patient care and support community health. The role includes processing and dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations and other pharmacy programs, and ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. The manager also oversees pharmacy merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and inventory; guides customer service; supports community outreach; and ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations through report analysis, loss prevention and safety controls, and safety and quality assurance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in working effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.

Responsibilities

- Model, enforce, and guide customer service approaches to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.
