About The Position

Join Walmart’s pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Grad Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting customers’ health and well-being in a community pharmacy setting. The role helps improve customer health and wellness through patient-focused care while supporting pharmacy operations, safety, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Be able to cater to individual patient needs.
• Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

• Bachelor of Science.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
