About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting customer health and well-being. The role supports the pharmacy team's customer-care and safety goals, provides clinical care, and helps ensure compliance with legal and company policies. Responsibilities include protecting confidential information, supporting prescription and over-the-counter transactions, assisting patients with their needs and clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Build effective relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Address individual patient needs.
• Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
