About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting customer health and well-being in a community pharmacy. You will contribute to pharmacy operations and help provide clinical care while following applicable legal and company policies, including requirements for confidentiality and patient information. The role includes supporting prescription and over-the-counter orders, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Be able to cater to individual patient needs.
Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
