About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting customer health and wellness. You will help provide patient care, support pharmacy operations, and contribute to customer care and safety while following legal requirements and company policies. The role includes assisting with prescriptions and over-the-counter purchases, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and supporting inventory and merchandise operations.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Be capable of addressing individual patient needs.
• Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
