About The Position

The Pharmacy Grad Intern gains hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting customer health and well-being. The role contributes to pharmacy operations, patient care, customer service, and compliance with legal and company policies. The intern helps process prescriptions and over-the-counter purchases, supports patients in navigating clinical therapies, and assists with receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Build effective relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Address individual patient needs.
Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
