Requirements

Per diem Outpatient Pharmacist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California.
Integral part of the patient care team working closely with medical, nursing and pharmacy staff to provide exceptional patient care cancer patients.

Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive care for outpatient oncology patients with various cancer-related disease states.
Reviewing and verifying chemotherapy orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
Providing patient education to inform patients about their treatments and care plans.
Monitoring therapeutic drugs to optimize drug therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Opportunities to participate in oncology disease-related groups to support guideline and SOP development, updates, and new drug monographs.
Providing accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
