Pharmacist - $70+/hr
About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking licensed Pharmacists for ongoing retail pharmacy opportunities in Kent and the surrounding area, with additional needs anticipated throughout the fall. Opportunities may include occasional per-diem shifts, a consistent part-time schedule, or full-time hours in the Tacoma area. The role offers flexible, individually tailored scheduling. Pharmacists dispense medications, counsel patients, provide immunizations and other pharmacist services as appropriate, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with pharmacy technicians and support staff to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
Requirements
- Active Washington Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, interactions, and potential side effects.
- Provide immunizations and other pharmacist services as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
