About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking licensed Pharmacists for ongoing retail pharmacy opportunities in Shelton, Washington. Multiple opportunities are available, with additional pharmacist needs anticipated throughout the fall. Pharmacists may pick up occasional per-diem shifts, build a consistent part-time schedule, or work with the team to secure full-time hours. Compensation is $70 or more per hour.
Requirements
- Active Washington Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Retail pharmacy experience.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, interactions, and potential side effects.
- Provide immunizations and other pharmacist services as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
