About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking licensed Pharmacists for ongoing retail pharmacy opportunities in Centralia, Washington. Multiple scheduling options are available, including occasional per-diem shifts, a consistent part-time schedule, or full-time hours. Additional pharmacist needs are anticipated throughout the fall. The Pharmacist dispenses prescription medications, counsels patients on medication use and safety, provides immunizations and other pharmacist services as appropriate, and helps ensure regulatory compliance. The role also involves working with pharmacy technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care and customer service.
Requirements
- Active Washington Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, interactions, and potential side effects.
- Provide immunizations and other pharmacist services as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
