About The Position

Under the general guidance of the Specialty Pharmacy Management, this role provides clinical oversight, operational leadership, and staff management within the specialty pharmacy program. In collaboration with Specialty pharmacists and technicians, the Team Lead ensures the Specialty Pharmacy delivers optimal patient care through proper drug selection, dose, route, duration of therapy, and cost-effectiveness. This position involves developing, implementing, and coordinating pharmacy programs, enhancing existing services, and optimizing care delivery. The Team Lead also ensures patient safety, regulatory adherence, maintenance of certification and/or accreditation standards, and performs various human resource functions.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completion of a pharmacy residency program and demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience OR 2-4 years of work experience as a registered clinical pharmacist with at least 1 year of specialty pharmacy experience and demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience.
• SC Pharmacist License
• Current BLS Certification
