About The Position

Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned U.S. biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative medicines. With over 150 patents and several marketed products, Tris has a robust pipeline in neuroscience and other therapeutic areas. The company is expanding its sales force to support its growing ADHD portfolio. This field-based position requires 100% travel and serves as a direct link between Tris Pharma and healthcare providers (HCPs) and clients. The territory covers Indianapolis and the surrounding western area, and qualified candidates must reside within this territory. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with a unique science and technology focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher education and a minimum of 1 year of sales experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, business-to-business (B2B), capital equipment, medical device, and/or related industry (for Pharma Sales Rep).
  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with documented sales success (for Healthcare Sales Rep).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully and independently growing and managing a territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and to develop strategic and actionable business plans.
  • Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers.
  • Scientific and business acumen.
  • Valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must live within the assigned territory (Indianapolis West).

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, processes, and compliance guidelines, ensuring knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements to respond to sales inquiries, disseminate scientific information, and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs).
  • Conducts office visits to establish, develop, and maintain successful business partnerships with targeted healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff within the assigned geographical territory.
  • Increases awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs for medical professionals.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to establish and execute a specific and integrated action plan for the assigned region to achieve defined territory and sales goals.
  • Clearly understands and implements sales and marketing strategies/plans to obtain sales objectives for assigned products.
  • Assists in market development efforts and identifying new prescriber opportunities.
  • Supports product promotion activities for the company's portfolio of branded products and delivers approved messaging and materials with professionalism, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Documents all field activity in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and manages territory metrics as required.
  • Attends team meetings, training sessions, and ride-alongs for ongoing development.
