Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional grooming experience preferred.
• Ability to complete full grooms independently.
• Strong scissoring, clipping, bathing, and finishing skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Passion for pet health, nutrition, and wellness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and professional, with reliable transportation.
• Desire to continue learning and growing within the grooming industry.
• Genuine love for animals and their well-being.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and handle pets weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance available when needed.
• Comfort working around water, pet hair, grooming tools, and cleaning products.
• Ability to safely restrain and handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Perform breed-specific trims and pet trims according to client requests and company standards.
• Safely bathe, dry, brush, and style dogs of various breeds, sizes, and coat types.
• Conduct pre-groom wellness assessments and identify potential health concerns.
• Educate pet parents on coat care, nutrition, skin health, and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate grooming notes and client records.
• Recommend grooming schedules and appropriate wellness products.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding grooming expectations and pet needs.
• Follow safety, handling, and animal welfare protocols.
