PET/CT Technologist (Nuclear Medicine)
About The Position
Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-focused PET/CT Technologist for a full-time position at its Junius facility in Dallas, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role performs PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs. It also prepares, calculates, and injects radiopharmaceuticals to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue; screens, educates, and monitors patients for comfort and safety; inserts intravenous catheters; and tests blood glucose and creatinine levels. Touchstone Medical Imaging is a provider of diagnostic imaging services that owns and operates facilities nationwide. Its facilities offer a range of imaging services in a comfortable, service-oriented outpatient environment.
Requirements
- Be experienced, registered, and patient-focused.
- Hold CNMT (NMTCB) and/or ARRT (N) credentials.
- Meet Texas Medical Board (TMB) requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs.
- Prepare, calculate, and inject radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue.
- Screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety.
- Insert intravenous catheters.
- Test blood glucose and creatinine levels.
