About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is hiring an experienced, registered, patient-focused PET/CT Technologist for a full-time position at Touchstone Medical Imaging’s Junius facility in Dallas, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The technologist performs PET and PET/CT exams, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, and supports patient comfort and safety in an outpatient imaging setting.
Requirements
- Experienced and registered PET/CT Technologist.
- CNMT (NMTCB) and/or ARRT (N) certification.
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) credential or requirement.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs.
- Prepare, calculate, and inject radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue.
- Screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety.
- Insert intravenous catheters and test blood glucose and creatinine levels.
