About The Position

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking an experienced Part Time Pet Care Professional for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking roles. The ideal candidate loves dogs and/or cats, enjoys the outdoors and being active, and has experience with various animals. Reliability, independence, good communication, and a smartphone are essential. This role is suitable for individuals seeking part-time work or supplemental income who are passionate about animal care and making a difference. Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC has been providing services since 2006 and has been recognized for its high quality of care and professionalism.

Requirements

• Love dogs and/or cats
• Enjoy the outdoors and being active
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Ability to work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills
• Love to learn
• Seeking part time work or supplemental income
• At least 1-2hrs of availability during at least 2 of the 4 visit time windows (Morning 6-10am, Afternoon 11-3pm, Evening 4-6pm, Night 7-9pm)
• Ability to work Monday through Friday OR Saturday & Sunday plus or minus some weekdays
• Willingness to work within a 10-15 minute travel radius around their home

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working / volunteering with animals (dogs / cats, etc.)
• Vet techs, dog trainers, pre-vet students, dog groomers, animal rescue workers and animal care techs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love & attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
