About The Position

Furry Fellas is hiring for 2 Part Time to Full Time pet care specialists in Coventry RI & surrounding areas. This role will start out Part Time and can gradually increase to Full Time based on performance and desire, or remain Part Time. Services include pet care, dog walking, and pet sitting. Compensation includes hourly pay plus mileage and gratuities.

Requirements

• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smartphone
• Daily internet access
• Able to pass background check
• Availability during at least 2 of our 4 time frames (Morning 7-10am, Afternoon 11-3pm, Evening 4-6pm, Night 7-9pm)
• Work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love & attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
• Leave a note for clients after each visit detailing how the visits went
