About The Position

Furry Fellas is hiring for 2 Part Time to Full Time pet care specialists in Providence and surrounding areas. This role will start as Part Time and can gradually increase to Full Time, or remain Part Time if desired. The services provided will include pet care, dog walking, and pet sitting. The compensation is hourly plus mileage and gratuities.

Requirements

• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Daily internet access
• Able to pass background check
• Able to work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills
• Availability during at least 2 of our 4 time frames (Morning 7-10am, Afternoon 11-3pm, Evening 4-6pm, Night 7-9pm)
• Seeking part time work or supplemental income

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking, exercising dogs, letting out for bathroom breaks, providing love & attention
• Feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit so they know how the visits went.
