About The Position

Furry Fellas is hiring for 2 Part Time to Full Time pet care specialists in East Greenwich, RI & surrounding areas. This role will start as Part Time and can gradually increase to Full Time or remain Part Time based on preference and performance. The services provided include pet care, dog walking, and pet sitting. Compensation is hourly plus mileage and gratuities.

Requirements

• Experienced pet care professionals
• Own transportation
• Smartphone
• Daily internet access
• Able to pass background check
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Able to work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills
• Availability during at least 2 of the 4 time frames: Morning (7-10am), Afternoon (11-3pm), Evening (4-6pm), Night (7-9pm)
• Must keep commitments once pet sitting assignments are accepted

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love & attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
