About The Position

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking an experienced Pet Care Professional for dog walking and pet sitting roles. The ideal candidate loves animals, enjoys the outdoors, and is comfortable working independently. This position offers part-time to full-time work with flexible hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets. Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC has been providing top-rated pet services since 2006, including dog walking, pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other small animals, and overnight pet sitting. They are committed to high professionalism and offer continuing education opportunities to their staff.

Requirements

• Love dogs and/or cats
• Enjoy the outdoors and being active
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Ability to work well independently
• Good communication skills/customer service skills
• Love animals
• Love to learn
• Seeking part time to full time work
• At least 1-2hrs of availability during at least 2 of the 4 visit time windows (Morning: 6-10am, Afternoons: 11-3pm, Evenings: 4-6pm, Nights: 7-9pm)
• Ability to work Monday through Friday OR Sat & Sun plus or minus some weekdays
• Prior experience working/volunteering with animals (dogs/cats, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love and attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
• Leaving a note for clients after each visit detailing how the visits went
