AM & PM East Greenwich & North Kingstown Pet Care Professional (Pet Sitting & Dog Walking)
About The Position
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking experienced and passionate Pet Care Professionals for part-time, long-term positions. This role involves pet sitting and dog walking for morning (AM) and evening (PM) shifts in East Greenwich and North Kingstown, RI. The ideal candidate has prior professional animal care experience, is reliable, comfortable with various animal types and sizes, possesses a smartphone and reliable transportation, and excels in independent work and customer service. Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Prior professional animal care experience (e.g., pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary hospital, animal shelter, dog daycare, boarding facility, grooming salon, pet training, veterinary technician, animal care technician, relevant internships/externships, equine/farm animal care, wildlife rehabilitation).
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Smartphone with reliable internet access.
- Daily access to email and the internet.
- Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling, communication, and visit documentation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors walking dogs year-round in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Consistent morning and evening availability Monday through Sunday (1-2 hours between 7-9 am and 6-9 pm).
- Minimum of 10 hours per week availability.
- Seeking a long-term part-time position.

Responsibilities
- Conducting dog walks, exercising dogs, and providing bathroom breaks.
- Pet sitting, including feeding and administering medications as needed.
- Providing care for cats and other small animals, including litter box cleaning.
- Offering love, attention, and exceptional care to pets while clients are away.
- Traveling frequently between clients' homes within assigned service areas.
- Following detailed care instructions provided by clients and within the client management system.
- Leaving notes for clients after each visit to update them on their pet's care.
