About The Position
Windermere Animal Hospital is hiring a Pet Care Attendant! This part-time role is for someone who loves animals, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a compassionate team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, enjoys hands-on animal care, and understands the importance of cleanliness and attention to detail in providing exceptional patient care. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets every day by caring for boarding and hospitalized patients while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Care for boarding and hospitalized patients
- Walk, feed, and monitor pets throughout their stay
- Administer medications as directed
- Clean and maintain cages, kennels, and patient housing areas
- Vacuum, mop, and maintain hospital cleanliness
- Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or distress and communicate concerns to the medical team
- Support patient comfort and well-being throughout the day
- Assist with daily kennel and hospital operations as needed
