About The Position
Red Hill Animal Health Center is hiring a Pet Care Attendant for their busy boarding and daycare center for cats and dogs. This role requires a high level of client service and is physically demanding, involving leash walks for large dogs and navigating stairs multiple times a day. Attention to detail and animal care are top priorities. The position offers a supportive, fun-loving team environment with daily variety and opportunities for learning and growth in animal care, behavior, and client service. The role aims to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable while away from home.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care for boarding guests, including feeding, medicating, walking, bathing, and record-keeping.
- Monitor pets’ comfort, health, and safety throughout their stay.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and team members regarding pet needs or observations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kennel spaces.
- Leash-walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments (up to 150 lbs).
- Supervise group and individual playtimes, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all pets.
- Ensure every pet receives attentive, loving care.
