About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Fishers, IN. This role involves teaching two individual classes for a couple, with back-to-back lessons requested. The preferred start date is ASAP, with lessons occurring once or twice per weekend for 1 hour each. The current target language level is high intermediate, and the language spoken at home is Korean. The male student wishes to improve his English skills for fluency, while the female student aims to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on improving her listening skills and understanding of vocabulary related to everyday life. She prefers structured lessons with clear lesson plans and enjoys topics such as investments and parenting.
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- A degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
Nice To Haves
- Student prefers structured lessons guided by a clear lesson plan.
- Student would like the teacher to briefly explain the plan at the start or end of each class.
- Student's interests include investments and parenting.
