Corky's Pest Control, a leading pest control provider in Southern California since 1967, is seeking to hire and train a Pest Control Technician for its Escondido Branch. Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean DMV report.
• Pass a physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (Required).
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Availability for at least 40 hours a week, including some weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain a pest control license within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Driving experience: 3 years (Preferred)
• Customer service experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide essential pest control services to clients.
• Travel to appointments, assess pest issues, and implement specialized treatment plans.
• Recommend actions to prevent future problems and build long-term customer relationships.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service.
• Respond to customer needs professionally and promptly.
• Perform physical labor and use a variety of tools/equipment.
• Establish effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers verbally and in writing.
• Read, understand, and follow labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals.
• Work independently and maintain assigned routes.
• Drive a company vehicle safely to customer locations.
• Use a handheld device to manage services and document pest issues.
• Follow all proper safety guidelines.
• Inspect, maintain, and utilize PPE.
• Maintain the working order and cleanliness of the assigned company vehicle.
• Stay up-to-date on the company’s product and service offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
