About The Position

Aptive Environmental is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician who works on the road in the area around Green Bay, Wisconsin, and reports to the Appleton, Wisconsin office once per week. The technician follows a local service route, addresses customers’ pest concerns, and provides individualized pest solutions. The role includes outdoor work, use of pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws, and maintaining a company vehicle, equipment, treatment records, and pesticide inventory. Paid training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary. The schedule includes every other Saturday.

Requirements

Have a US driver’s license that has been valid for at least 3 years.
Have a clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past 4 years.
Pass a drug test and background check.
Carry a product backpack weighing approximately 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Run a daily route to resolve customers’ pest concerns and issues.
Maintain the truck and equipment in proper working order.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
Mix, apply, and work with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
Recommend and implement efficient pest solutions suited to each customer’s needs.
Maintain and service route customers according to company standards and procedures.
Advise customers of potential problems.
Keep management informed of problems encountered on service routes.
Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
