About The Position

Aptive Environmental is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician serving a local route in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. The technician works independently and as part of a team, resolves customers’ pest concerns, and provides pest-control solutions tailored to each customer. The position reports to the company’s Appleton, Wisconsin office once per week. No prior experience is necessary; paid training is provided. The role involves carrying a product backpack weighing approximately 50 pounds and working every other Saturday.

Requirements

• A U.S. driver's license that has been valid for at least three years.
• A clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past four years.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route and resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain the truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Recommend efficient pest-control solutions suited to each customer’s individual needs.
• Maintain and service route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
