About The Position

Aptive Environmental is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician to work on the road in the area around Stoughton, Wisconsin. The technician reports to the Stoughton office once per week and is assigned a route in the local area. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to address customers’ pest concerns, provide treatments, maintain equipment and records, and advise customers on effective pest solutions. No prior experience is necessary; paid training is provided. The position requires carrying a product backpack weighing approximately 50 pounds and working every other Saturday.

Requirements

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of three years.
• A clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past four years.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to carry a product backpack weighing approximately 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain the truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Advise customers and implement efficient pest solutions suited to each customer’s needs.
• Maintain and service route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
