About The Position

Fox Pest Control is hiring an entry-level Pest Control Technician for its Warwick, Rhode Island branch. Technicians travel to customer locations to provide pest-control services, build customer relationships, and help keep homes and businesses pest-free. They greet customers professionally, prepare treatments tailored to customers’ pest-control needs, document services, and make recommendations for long-term protection. The role requires staying efficient and focused while moving between customers and following service routes.

Fox provides paid, hands-on training through its Technician Pathway Program, which offers skill development and promotion milestones. The company describes opportunities for career growth and reports that it made more than 120 internal promotions in the prior year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive, people-first attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform manual labor while following service routes.
• Passion for building relationships and providing outstanding customer service.
• Desire to learn pest-activity analysis, customer communication, and treatment procedures.
• Willingness to follow service protocols and apply products safely.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Prior pest-control experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers along assigned service routes and provide pest-control services.
• Greet customers in a professional, friendly manner and build trusting relationships.
• Prepare customized treatments based on each customer’s pest-control needs.
• Document services provided and recommend solutions for long-term pest protection.
• Learn to analyze pest activity, explain findings to customers, and take appropriate action.
• Follow servicing protocols and apply products safely.
• Work efficiently and maintain focus and energy between customers.

Benefits

• Base pay of $19 to $22 per hour plus commissions; top technicians may earn $60,000 or more per year.
