About The Position

Peachtree Pest Control, an Anticimex company, is hiring a Pest Control Service Professional to provide pest management services to homes and businesses. The role involves identifying pest concerns, performing treatments, recommending prevention, and educating customers while building long-term relationships through honest, professional service. The position contributes to healthier and safer environments for the communities served. This is a full-time, year-round, in-person position with an assigned service area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role includes paid training and, for eligible field positions, a take-home company vehicle and gas card. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Availability to work Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to safely carry, position, and climb ladders.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach overhead, and maintain mobility throughout the workday.
Ability to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces, attics, and other restricted-access areas.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
Ability to frequently lift and handle equipment and materials above shoulder level.
Ability to operate a company vehicle and drive an established service route for extended periods.
Ability to safely use hand tools, application equipment, and other job-related devices.
Visual acuity necessary to inspect, identify, and treat pest-related issues.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators and other safety gear as needed, and company-provided footwear.
Ability to complete required medical evaluations, including respirator clearance evaluations when applicable.

Responsibilities

Inspect homes and businesses to identify pest concerns and contributing conditions.
Perform pest management treatments according to company standards and industry regulations.
Recommend preventative solutions to help customers avoid future pest issues.
Travel throughout an assigned service area to complete scheduled appointments.
Educate customers on treatment plans, findings, and best practices.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Provide outstanding customer service and professional communication.
Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
