About The Position

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Pest Control Service Professional to provide pest control services and customer support in a field-based, route-oriented role. The position involves working independently in the local community, serving residential and business customers, and building lasting customer relationships. The company provides comprehensive training, including for candidates without pest control experience. Training pay is $19 per hour. The professional performs residential pest control, mosquito services, and termite inspections; monitors termite bait systems; addresses customer account needs; and communicates with customers and internal teams. The role requires applying pest control products according to label standards and safety guidelines, and maintaining a safety-first approach when using equipment or driving a company vehicle. Work takes place in varied environments and weather conditions and may involve ladders, confined spaces, crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.
Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods.
Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of pest control experience.

Responsibilities

Build lasting relationships with internal and external customers and deliver excellent service.
Manage the daily operations of a Universal Service Route using effective time management.
Perform residential pest control and mosquito services, and conduct termite inspections.
Monitor termite bait systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Problem-solve customer accounts to address current and future needs.
Communicate consistently with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
Work with customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Apply pest control products in accordance with label standards and safety guidelines.
Maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company equipment or driving a company vehicle.
Represent Northwest Exterminating professionally and uphold its standards of customer care.
