The Personnel Analyst for the Orfalea College of Business (OCOB) is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, applying, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws, CSU and university policies, and bargaining unit agreements. This role serves as a key resource for OCOB leaders, faculty, and staff regarding policy and procedure. Key functions include coordinating the annual Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) process, maintaining electronic personnel files, processing various faculty personnel actions, coordinating all faculty searches, and managing new employee onboarding activities for the College. The analyst is also expected to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all partner staff and offices at Cal Poly related to job functions.
