About The Position
Personal Support Specialists (PSSs) provide in-home support to people in Kennebunk and surrounding towns. Duties may include helping with personal care, safe transfers and mobility, meal preparation, errands, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. Shifts are available in the morning and afternoon, with flexible weekdays and weekends, in 1–4 hour blocks that can be combined for full-time or part-time hours.
Requirements
- Active Maine PSS certification.
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Comfort with English communication and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Help clients with safe transfers and mobility.
- Prepare meals, run errands, provide medication reminders, and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship.
